John Goodenough, the oldest person to receive a Nobel Prize at 97 years old

Chemistry laureate Goodenough was born to American parents in 1922 in Jena, Germany. As a young boy he loved spending time in nature and especially liked taking long walks in the nature as they made it easier to think.
In 2019 John Goodenough became the oldest person to receive a Nobel Prize at 97 years old. He was awarded the chemistry prize "for the development of lithium-ion batteries."
